He married Elizabeth Hoyt, the daughter of Walter Hoyt. His will was dated 11 January 1685/6. The year is not correct. The will mentioned his wife Elizabeth, daughter Elizabeth, under 18, Thomas under 22, sister Lockwood. His wife Elizabeth and Sergant John Platt were the executors. His brother Mark Sention was the overseer. In inventory was exhibited November 1686. His wife was dead by this time. The only heir was the daughter Elizabeth.
